Experience
Michael Langer
VP, Marketing & Finance
Mike Langer has been with Spear Dermatology Products since its inception in 2001.
Mike’s official title is VP of Finance and Marketing for Spear, but he is also actively involved in operational issues. Mike has been in the pharmaceutical industry for 24 years.
Prior to joining Spear, Mike held finance and marketing positions with Schein Pharmaceutical, Inc. for 11 years. He holds a BS in Applied Math & Statistics from Stony Brook University and an MBA in Finance from New York University.
Rich Martin
VP, National Accounts
Rich Martin joined Spear Dermatology Products in 2001 as Vice President, National Accounts, with responsibility for managing sales in the Western territory of the country.
Rich has been in the pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years. Rich began his pharmaceutical career with a leading pharmaceutical company and joined Schein Pharmaceutical in 1988.
Rich graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Akron.
Diane Miranda
VP, Operations
Diane Miranda joined Spear in May 2013 as Head of Commercial Operations. She brings with her a wealth of pharmaceutical experience, with a career in the healthcare industry that spans over 30 years.
Coming to the Spear organization from Watson Pharmaceuticals, Diane offers a unique global, big pharma perspective, coupled with a well-developed expertise in generic drugs. During her extensive tenure at Watson, she held key management positions as a senior level operations executive ranging from Commercial Operations through Global Supply Chain.
Prior to Watson, Diane held the position of VP, Financial Operations & Distribution at Schein Pharmaceutical. Like most Spear employees, Diane wears many hats. She handles multiple responsibilities that incorporate the areas of Finance, Commercial Operations, Sales & Marketing Operations, Distribution, Demand Management and Supply Chain.
Steve McGuire
VP, National Accounts
Steve McGuire joined Spear Dermatology Products in 2001 as Vice President, National Accounts, with responsibility for managing sales in the Eastern territory of the country.
Steve has been in the pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years working in the generic pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining Spear, Steve spent 12 years at Schein Pharmaceutical.
Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from George Mason University.
